About Us Now

Company History:

Leon Anton Sevcik, Jr., born in La Grange, TX, on December 16, 1944, opened his first Texaco station on East 29th Street in Bryan, TX, in February 1972. His dedication, long hours, and genuine relationships with customers built a reputation that quickly spread across the community. Leon knew many of his customers by name—and even memorized their license plates.

As demand grew, Leon expanded into the larger facility where Sevcik’s Service Center proudly operates today.

Our Family-Run Legacy

Sevcik’s has always been a true family business. Leon’s sons, Bubba and Patrick, worked in the shop while his daughter Lisa handled bookkeeping. Today, Patrick serves as Operations Manager, and Leon’s son-in-law, Mark is the Business Manager, continuing the family tradition of integrity and service.

Our biggest strength remains our long-time crew—several of our technicians have been with us for decades, carrying forward the same commitment Leon built his business on.
